The Pirelli's are conscious about their water usage, and had Solaris Systems display the usage statistics from the Water Usage package on the Home page. In addition, we've tied in a phone system to display Caller ID's from the most recent calls.

In addition to the regular Thermostat, a touch-screen interface was provided for the HVAC system, using our Thermostat Control package.

This shows how the Pirelli's had their Blinds and Lighting package controlled via the touch-screen. For the blinds, we take a picture of your window with the blinds up and the blinds down, and use those images as the buttons on the touch screen. This provides a great picture of your home at a quick glance. This screen also lets you view and control the garage door states.

This shows one of the many camera that the Pirelli's have in their house. This screen can be selected manually, brought up over the web, and will also automatically display on all touch-screen if a vehicle enters the driveway, or the doorbell is pushed.

Here we have a customized 'Away Mode' interface, which melds technology and energy conservation into an easy to control package. The Away Mode is set as you leave the house by either pressing one of the pre-set buttons, or by manually entering the time on a second screen. In this house, setting the Away Mode actives the security (with a 30 second countdown played throughout the house's speakers), switches power outlets off where phantom loads are plugged in (TV, Amp, etc.), turns off all lights, and sets the AC for 80 degrees instead of 72. The reason we have you specify the time that you'll be back home is so that the system can set the thermostat back to 72 degrees 30 minutes before your arrival.

In addition to the 15" touchscreen installed in the Pirelli's mudroom, we're also using the new HP TouchSmart's touchscreen to have a 2nd control interface in the Kitchen. This computer also has Vista Media Center on it, and is used to play music, tv shows, and pictures from their main Living Room Media Center PC.
